We have listened to various debates on TV and elsewhere on these modern day contentious issues but do we really understand what is going on in our society? Is there a simple explanation that has so far eluded us?
Can it be argued that these upheavals are simply acts of rebellion against God or at least against the word of God as written in the Bible. There is nothing new in this. The old Testament gives a complete history of the never ending acts of rebellion against God by the people of Israel over thousands of years. Sadly, they nearly always ended in tears and I suspect this current modern day rebellion, if that is what it is, may end the same way.
I will leave it to you to decide whether there is any credence to this theory, and what these various acts of rebellion could be, but one that might fit the bill, and has been around for a long time is the Abortion Act 1967. Read Psalm 139 v13 - 16 if you wish to know the mind of God.
